Step 4 Select RTO Name

Step 5 Select PayYour Tax
Applicant Enter the Vehicle Registration number to avail “Pay Your Tax”
service. And move the application to next stage.
Step6EnterRegistrationNumber & Chassis Number (Last 5 Digit)
Applicant Enter the Vehicle Registration number to avail “Pay Your Tax”
service. And move the application to next stage.
Step 7 Click onthe Verify Details
Applicant click on the Verify button and enter the next stage
Step 8 Click onthe Using Mobile OTP or Using AAdhar
Now, Applicant enter the Using mobile OTP
Step 9 Click on the Submit
Click on the Submit button to proceed further.
Step 10 Select Tax Mode (Yearly/ Quarterly)
Step 11 Click on Payment
Now click on payment button to proceed the online payment through payment gateway.
Step 12 Click on Confirm Payment
Confirmation box will be shown to applicant. Confirm the details and Confirm Payment further.
Step 13 Select Payment Gateway
Make payment button will allow you to select payment gateway. Select
“NTRP” payment gateway for the e-payment.
Step 14 Click on Continue
Select your bank and then click on “Continue” button

Now, this will open new page containing list of banks associated with UPI.
Select your UPI and then click on “Pay” button
Step 16 Clickon Confirm Button
Select your bank and then click on “Confirm”button.
Step 17 Add UPI ID
Add UPI ID and then click on “Verify”button.
Step 18 Click on Pay Button
Step 19 Successful Message Box appear
In this sample page, select “Successful”option.
Step 20 Fees Receipt Generated
If bank status is success then transactions get approved and fee receipt will be generated
Step 21 Print Application letter
Application letter generated, now applicant can take the Print as required
a. Visit https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/vahan/
b. Enter your “Vehicle Registration Number”
c. Click on “Proceed”
d. Click on “Online Services”
e. Select “Pay Vehicle Tax”
f. Enter last 5 Digit of Chassis No. and click on “Validate Regn_no/Chasi_no”
g. Click on ‘Generate OTP’
h. Enter the OTP received on registered mobile number and Submit
i. Update “Insurance Details”
j. Review the Fee Panel and Proceed
k. Pay the Fees, as shown
l. Payment Receipt Generated
m. After this, the application will be moved to RTO for further processing
